91³Ô¹ÏÍøGallery’s collection, which comprises over 33,000 objects ranging from the Middle Ages to the 21st century and includes paintings, drawings, ceramics and sculptures, among others, is available to explore in its entirety online for free for the first time thanks to a new digital platform.

Photographic Collections

The Courtauld’s photographic collections are of major international significance for the study and research of art, architecture, provenance and collecting, as well as enjoyment and appreciation of art in the classroom and at home. Comprising over 3.2 million images, many of which have never been published before, they are in the process of being digitised and are being made freely available here for the first time.  The majority of images may be downloaded and used free of charge for non-commercial use.

The National Wall Paintings Survey

The National Wall Paintings Survey is an unparalleled archive of documentation and images relating to Britian’s mural heritage. Comprising information on over 8,500 sites with wall paintings, it forms an essential point of reference for all those interested in the significance and care of these works.  Our new online catalogue enables easy exploration of these resources, many of which are now available to download without charge for non-commercial use. The process of digitisation is ongoing, with new material being added all the time.
